Flat tire

My family two cars had flat tired on front driver side wheel on last week.
Both tires had pin whole on it. It seems that tires stepped on some sort of nail or screw.
We are trying to investigate it. Maybe it relates with neighbor's new home construction.
BTW, The fixing cost is $109.97 + $102.41 = $212.38.
Q: Can we make a claim for damages?
I should submit the case as the report of the Code Violation or Street Issue.

[Cupertino rejected the case. They said it was caused private general contractor. It is not caused by city then.]

Let me prepare all the invoice and record all the incident as evidence first. Let see how it goes.

Murphy's Law: Everything that can possibly go wrong will go wrong.

Well, how to prevent the worst possible sequence? The answer is the Fool-proofing aka. ポカ-ヨケ(Poka-Yoke). For example, the floppy disk is unable to insert if it was face up.

Well, my wife just ran into the critical human error that she was paniced to call 911 while she drove and stalled Toyota prius during rush hour when she pressed engine power button while driving instead of the radio power button when I called her.

So, these two Power button are bad design. Toyota should consider the Fool-proofing design of it.

Farewell to my dog - 小熊

小熊, male maltese, 19 years old.
He was so strong to try to survive to against his weak body recently.
Just can't see he suffering such pain that he kept felt down and tried hard to get up.
So, he was put in sleep at the local animal shelter around 3PM today.
Mandy and I are missing him. Just can't help felt down tear after handed over him to animal shelter employee.
We kept a very long silent while drove car back to home........without 小熊.
